This grassy square faces the Garonne River.
It is a favourite spot for a weekend stroll. The municipality
has laid down a large, tiled axonometric plan of the centre
of town, in sufficient detail that each house may be identified.
When the picture first displays, the space is empty. Double
click to bring the people on - or to remove them. The passage
of time is transformed into a single, ever remixing moment,
as the individual images slur randomly into each other. People
are, at the same time, self conscious because of the proximity
of the camera, and absorbed with their study of the city's
plan. Hold the mouse down to freeze the instant.
